Robot Controls engineer

We are looking for a Robot Controls engineer to strenghten our machine building team in Wuxi, China.


Robotics are one of the key developments in the industry for the future, in the 2020 roadmap. We install globally more than 300 robotics per year for various applications in our highly automated machines. By developing the Robot software you can translate the customer requirements in the application of robot technology for high end automated machine for mostly automotive industry. It could be, for example, that you have to integrate robots for laser welding, logistic handling and gluing in the production for example for an car exhaust system.

You determine the functionality for Robot applications
Based on a functional design and an oflline simulation you make as a Robot controls engineer the Robot program. Many different functionality will be integrated in our robot systems, like arc welding, laser welding, gluing, vision, measuring, sensoring and handling. Contiously you will look for reaching the optimal uptime of the robots and required process quality. You are ready if the required performance of our machines has been proven and production process of the customer is running. Process optimization of the welding process and cycle time is key in the end stage.

You train our customers
After the machine has been in business you give training to the employees of our customer. You do this with passion and enthusiasm and knows how to transfer your knowledge by giving a simple explanation of complex solutions.

What we expect from you?
Robot control technology is in your DNA and you are creative in solving complex technical issues. You know how to design a program and are familiar with one or more of the following robot brands: ABB, FANUC or KUKA. For being able to communicate with our customers and providing training, knowledge of the English language is essential. A bachelor degree is a must, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or Information Technology.
