What will be your role?
By developing the PLC program you can translate the customer requirements in a machine control for high end automated machines used mainly in the automotive industry.  An application example would be a welding machine for the automotive seating industry. Usually using robotics for the welding process and manual or semi-automatic loading of the components. The machine would be set up to produce 20 different variances of seats with a tact time of 20 seconds. Your task would be to ensure that we can program the machine in a way that we meet or exceed customer expectations.  Since the customer application is a non-standard procedure you will need a high level on self-control and the ability to create and optimize PLC programs and assembly flows by utilizing lean manufacturing principles.

You determine the functionality of our machine
The program you will create as a PLC controls engineer is a very crucial factor for our machine performance. You bring experience in PLC programming with Siemens and/or Allan Bradley and you can code from ground up in Graph, SCL, STL, you know how to integrate camera systems and welding equipment and have profound knowledge in NEC, NFPA, OSHA regulations.

You train our customers
Once the machine is installed at our customer site, you will give training to our customers employees. It is important that you are able to communicate with passion and in a way that complex tasks are understood easily. 

What do we expect from you?
Control technology is in your DNA and you are creative in solving complex technical issues. You know how to design a program and using Alan Bradley or Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal). For being able to communicate with our customers and providing training, fluent English language is a must. Spanish, German a plus. You have a bachelor degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or Information Technology.
