Laser cell FFO 2 index table

The Laser cell FFO 2 is based on a double index table. The laser welding takes place at one position, while the welding parts are inserted and removed at the other. The jig in the Laser cell FFO 2 has an external shaft so that it can be put to any desired position. This concept has already been well proven in practice and provides maximum 3D flexibility.

The laser welding is done by one or two robots with fixed optics. The Laser cell FFO 2 uses two robots in combination with a single laser source and the AWL Techniek Beam Switch technology. This produces optimal balance between 3D flexibility and laser uptime, and the use of simple and robust components. The layout is very compact and there is excellent process accessibility, thanks to the robots being located in a portal above the index table.
